MidCoast Assist is an Ageing and Disability support service of MidCoast Council that is dedicated to delivering high quality support services to the elderly, people living with a disability and their carer's. We aim to take a simple step-by-step, person centred approach that is tailored to our clients individual needs.

The role and you

This position sits within our Customised Care team and is responsible for assisting with the delivery of quality, client centred customised care services for older people living in their own homes, with a focus on service rostering administration and liaison with key stakeholders.

To be successful in this role:

You will be a highly motivated individual that has strong administration skills with rostering experience. You will have a positive and caring approach to your work and will have the ability and skills to assist with planning and implementation of rostering and supporting our direct care staff.

Furthermore, you will have sound communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to a customer-cantered service delivery. You will also have a Certificate II level qualifications in administration or a related field.

  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal Record Check
  • The successful candidate will be required to have received a minimum three doses of a Covid-19 Vaccination. Successful applicant will be required to provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.

Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the MidCoast Assist office located at 4 Breese Parade, Forster. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

The package: Commencing salary package circa $51,700 p.a. plus superannuation.

Tenure: Full-time, with potential opportunity to be a Part-time job share arrangement for successful candidates.
